Year 4 Class Assembly

Today year 4 performed their class assembly to the rest of the school and their parents and carers. The children re-enacted the events leading up to one of the most famous dates in English history, the Battle of Hastings. This is the culmination of all the learning we have enjoyed in our History lessons during the last two terms. Everyone spoke clearly and the acting was superb. We reflected on why it is important for world leaders, both political and religious to make just decisions and to use their power wisely so that everyone may receive a fair deal and an equal share in the wealth that God has given us. We prayed that all those who have power will rule our land and the many institutions with wisdom and integrity to enable us to lead peaceful and happy lives.
