Henri Rousseau is a famous painter who is considered to be the father of modern art. He painted in the late 1800’s after the Impressionists. He was untrained but painted, in strong colours, exotic scenes such as jungles even though he had never stepped outside of France! He was inspired by visits to botanical gardens. One of his paintings is ‘Tiger in the tropical storm’.

D- loving nature and  following the Rainforest topic this week has painted ‘Goshawk, Tiger, Mouse’ in the style of Rousseau. He certainly has presented a proudest piece! Well done D!
