The Callum O’Dowda Cup for Sporting Excellence

Congratulations to Aidan Prior  for winning the sports cup this term for his excellent contribution to school sport. His efforts in the athletics, swimming, hockey and netball festivals have been superb. Aidan never gives up in his pursuit for success, which in turn inspires the rest of his team. He is a superb athlete and a pleasure to teach, as his desire to improve his skills, is always evident. Well done Aidan!

Sue Pollard Cup for Teamwork

Well done to our Y6 Play Leaders who were the recipients of the teamwork cup for their contribution to school playtime. At lunchtime, they organise fun activities for the KS1 children to enjoy. Having completed their Young Sports Leader training in September, they are able to ensure the sessions follow the STEP program which ensures the activities are safe, age appropriate and most of all fun for our younger children. Well done Team Y6- you deserve his recognition for all you hard work!
