All Souls Day is celebrated on 2nd November and during the month of November we take time to focus on remembrance. We think about those we have lost and offer our prayers for friends and family members who have died. In Year 4, we talked about why we should remember our loved ones and we also discussed and reflected on those people who might not have anyone to pray for them. The children wrote prayer requests on poppy petals and we displayed these on our class prayer board.
May the choirs of angels come to greet you.
May they speed you to paradise.
May the Lord enfold you in his mercy.
May you find eternal rest.
