John Bellasis

Foundation Governor

Appointed 2017, elected Chair in 2020

Freight Transport has been the theme of John’s career and it involves more than you might think. He was awarded a Certificate in Management by the Open University to enhance his experience as a Commercial Manager. Prior to that he was a Systems Analyst designing and writing high level computer programs. He has had some involvement with National Vocational Qualifications as an Assessor and an External Verifier and relates his experiences in this with coaching. For a short time John ran his own manufacturing business making gutters for large premises, and this required expertise in forecasting, budgeting, costing and monitoring.  In addition, he has driven trucks at a class 1 level, and this kind of work requires effort, accuracy and a great deal of consideration.

Anna Capilli Francis

Foundation Governor

Appointed May 2018

Anna joined the Academy Committee in May 2018 and has been been part of the school and the school community since 2009 when her daughter started in the nursery at St Thomas More.

Anna is the link between the school and our Parish as Foundation Governor.

Becky Considine

Becky believes that, as one of the Parent Governors, she is a voice for the parents and carers of St Thomas More. Independent of this, She runs her own business that helps other businesses with administrative tasks. She has two children in the school and manages her work around her family. She is passionate about helping out within the school, getting to know the children, parents and carers. Over the last few years she has taken the time to help children particularly within KS1 with assisted reading. She also spends a fair amount of time working on various projects with the Friends of St Thomas More and implementing fundraising events for the school. She feels the school is wonderful, but there is always room for improvement and she feels honoured in helping the school to achieve its goals.
