KS1 Planetarium Dome – Wednesday 9th October

KS1 visit to the Planetarium – Wednesday 9th October 2019

This term our Topic is ‘Moon Zoom’. As a part of this learning about Space, we visited a Planetarium. A planetarium is a dome that shows us the planets and stars. It was an amazing experience. We looked at the night sky, the solar system, the moon, meteorites and a 3D space station! This will help us find answers to our inquiry question for this term ’What is beyond our precious world’.
The children had a very exciting morning with many of the children saying they would love to visit space!
