Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic time during their overnight visit to Hill End Camp.
The weather was perfect and the children enjoyed plenty of outdoor fun and learning. Activities included orienteering, rounders, shelter building, challenge trails, climbing wall, mini-beast hunts and exploring the maze.
In the evening, the children tucked in to marshmallows around the campfire and drank hot chocolate before going off to their dormitories.
It was a pleasure to see everyone working together cooperatively in mixed year groups, making new friends and trying new challenges. They behaved brilliantly and were a credit to St Thomas More School.
A huge thank you to the parents and Teaching Assistants that volunteered to come with us and helped to make the trip possible – Ruby’s grandma, Jimin, and Robin’s mums, plus Mrs Brooks and Mrs Conway. Plus a surprise visit from Mrs Pollard!
Here are just a few photos….
