Year 6 had the responsibility of planning and leading the final whole school Mass of this academic year. The Mass was celebrated by Father Prem and was attended by all the pupils in Years Reception to 6 and by many parishioners and Year 6 parents. The children, as always, behaved with reverence and sang the hymns well helping make this celebration a very special one for our Year 6 pupils who will leave St Thomas More at the end of this term. Year 6 read the readings and bidding prayers with clarity, understanding and meaning. A big thank you to David and Erin for reading from Scripture and to Leonardo, Josie, Toby, Tanya, Jack and Savia for reading the bidding prayers. Well done too to Geleno and Zoe for doing the offertory. Before the Mass was ended, Fr Prem presented each of the Year 6 pupils with a St Thomas More medal. This token is a something they will all cherish and a very special reminder for all they have learned during their time with us here at St Thomas More. We pray that each and every one will be guided and lead a faith-filled, bright future.
