Christmas Fete and the Elf on the Shelf

The Christmas Fete last Friday was a great success.  Santa paid a visit, much to the delight of the children and we had the school choir sing for us too.  It was wonderful to see so many families come to the fete and support the school, so thank you very much to you all.  A great big thank you to the Friends of St Thomas More for organising and setting up the hall and Santa’s grotto. It really was a lovely event.

We have a magical Elf on the Shelf, come visit the school during the last week or so, and I have to say that he has been very mischievous! I think he may have got left behind from Santa’s grotto as he was rather busy there  Below you can see what happened to our school office one morning this week, which as you can imagine came as a great surprise for the staff and children. There was wrapping paper over the chairs and on the computer screens, in fact he even wrapped himself up!
