Our Science learning is based on the National Curriculum which aims to ensure all children gain scientific knowledge and a conceptual understanding through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics.  Wherever possible, opportunities are made to link the Science learning with the topic being studied however if necessary it is taught discretely to ensure a focus on core knowledge and key skills as well as Working Scientifically. Our aim is to make Science fun, ambitious and inclusive, developing positive attitudes to the subject by ensuring that it is enjoyable, relevant and hands on. We use different opportunities for curriculum enrichment with visitors and visits.
