It was a very emotional day as today was my last day at St Thomas More. It was a wonderful assembly led by the children’s beautiful singing. The children presented their Bambilini, representations of the baby Jesus, so that we could remember why we celebrate Christmas. Thank you for all of the very kind words and the gifts that you have given me. I am very overwhelmed by them all.
I have so many fond memories of being with your children, during assemblies, in the classroom, attending different sporting events, trips and other school activities and they will always stay with me.
I have been fortunate enough to work alongside an extremely dedicated team of people. The staff and governors understand how each and every child deserve their time and respect, so that each child feels nurtured and cared for. Everything we do and say has an impact on a child and our aim is to ensure that their experiences here at St Thomas More are memorable for them, for all of the right reasons. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the staff, governors and Friends of the school for their commitment, passion and unrelenting drive to make a difference in your children’s lives. I will miss you all!
God bless, and a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year to one and all.
