Muddy Puddle Walk

Last Friday the Foundation Stage children completed a sponsored muddy puddle walk for Save The Children. We were so proud of them all! A huge thank you to all of the parents and helpers who made our walk possible. We are still collecting in sponsor money, and will announce the total soon!

Exploring Nursery

Peter Pan Drama Workshop

Farmer Gow’s Visit

Friday 10th June Foundation stage enjoyed a visit from Farmer Gow’s. The children got to meet lots of animals including a goat, sheep, ducks, geese and chickens. They helped to feed the animals and loved being able to hold the chicks. It was a great experience for the children.

Lots of children have had a go at the new Mecano and K’Nex set. It has taken lots of concentration and problem solving for the children to put together all the different pieces. We have been very impressed with how hard they have tried with the different models they have made.

Planting peas and flowers

We have been learning about Mini-beasts. We went on a mini-beast hunt in the garden and looked closely at the slimy trails the snails made. We recreated this by using PVA and glitter on paper. Senses At nursery we enjoy exploring all our senses with different textures. One of our favourites has been strawberry jelly. The children loved to pick it up and squash it throgh their fingers.    

Foundation Stage Visit from The Dogs Trust

On Thursday Charlotte from the Dogs Trust visited Nursery and Reception. She talked to us about puppies and the things they need. We enjoyed some activities and learnt lots about dogs. Everybody listened really well to Charlotte.
